Drivers Rear Fenders Update

David Dyck - Monday, September 14, 2009
Has anyone been wondering what we've been up to? Anyone? Well, anyways, while some of you were enjoying summer, we were rebuilding our rear fender mould. We thought our prototype rear fenders (pictured below) were cool, but we decided that they weren't good enough. So we started from scratch and I think we got it now. If you are asking yourself why you should care, you may be interested in our new carbon fiber rear fenders if:

1. You not only like the look of Carbon Fiber, you like real Carbon Fiber.
2. You want to cover your drive tires with fenders, but don't want to sacrifice precious payload.
3. You like the idea of a full plastic inner liner protecting your fenders from evil stones.
4. You think our fenders are cool.

If you fall into any of the categories above, our fenders will be ready for Pre-Order shortly. Oh, and If you aren't so interested in the carbon fiber idea, we will be offering our fenders in a modern take on old school fiberglass shortly. I will keep you posted as there are new developments.

FInd SHIFT at GATS

David Dyck - Wednesday, August 19, 2009
In case you were wondering, we are going to the Great American Truck Show in Dallas this weekend. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for us to have a booth this year, but you can check out our fenders and light bar on Jade Transport's Legacy Peterbilt 379. This truck is running our carbon fiber fenders on the front and the back. The front's are Shift production spec "3.79" all carbon fenders. The rears are prototype "drivers" rear fenders. If you are looking for Shift at the show, just talk to the driver of that rig.

Updated Gallery

David Dyck - Friday, August 07, 2009
In case you hadn't already noticed, we updated our "Working Art" gallery to include truck #199. Although this truck may not have the slap-you-in-the-face green paint like SubLime, what it lacks in color is more than made up for in detail. If you ever see this truck at a show, be sure to give it a good walk around and pay attention to what is and is no longer there. Of course, you should also check out our Peterbilt 379 carbon fiber fenders on the front and the drivers rear fenders.

Working Art

David Dyck - Monday, July 06, 2009
Shift Products and Cate Photography have teamed up to create what we are calling "Working Art". We believe that trucks can be more than just tools for moving things and yet they are more than works of art. Working Art is a gallery of trucks that are as easily used in art exhibits as they are at pulling loads. Of course, we have ulterior motives and require that the trucks be showcasing Shift fenders. Exhibit One: SubLime. Check the still shots out on our Working Art Gallery page.

World Of Large Cars

David Dyck - Thursday, July 02, 2009
If you're anywhere near Illinois this weekend, you should make the trip down Route 66 to picturesque Carlinville for the World Of Large Cars truckshow. This year's show is being held in the honor of Bette Garber and Jake Eilen. The event will be hosted by the Gwillim's; Scott, Mickey, and Tyler, so you can bet that there will be a lot of crazy trucking stories being shared, especially about 359's. If you are a fan of all things trucks and maybe a little nostalgic as well, be sure to ask for a tour of Mickey and Tyler's house; the memorabilia alone could justify an admission price. Oh, and don't forget to take a look at Shift Products' fender's on SubLime.

Shift Well Represented at Shell SuperRigs

David Dyck - Monday, June 22, 2009
This past weekend at the Shell SuperRigs show, two trucks showcasing Shift Products' Fenders placed in the top five. Both Peterbilts belong to Jade Transport and placed 2nd and 4th in the bobtail class. Jade's Legacy 379 claimed the 2nd place finish and their 389, known as SubLime, placed 4th in the same class. This was SubLime's first show and we believe that it faired quite well, having secured a coveted spot on the 2010 Shell SuperRigs calendar. While you're waiting for Shell to release next year's calendar, check the picture below.

Shift Products to Debut Carbon Fiber Peterbilt 389 Fenders

David Dyck - Tuesday, June 16, 2009
This coming weekend at the Shell SuperRigs show in Oak Grove, MO, Shift is going to debut their newest fender. It is a carbon fiber composite Peterbilt 389 fender. The truck they will be shown on is sublime... No really, that is the name of the truck. It is a 2008 Peterbilt 389 that was built in conjunction with the guys at Jade Transport and has been nicknamed SubLime. You should be able to spot the truck from a mile away, but you might have to look close to see all the detail that has gone into the design. Obviously, we want to promote our stuff, so make sure to check out the twill carbon fiber front and back fenders. The fronts are Shift model "3.89" in Twill and the single rears are prototypes of Shift "drivers". Other seriously cool things to note about the truck are: the back bumper or rear light bar, the air lines, hidden bunk suspension, and the fact that it is a 389 with no DPF and a lime green engine. We don't need to get into all the details right now, but watch for some more sweet pictures coming soon.
